Ottocento Veneto. Il trionfo del colore:
The art exhibition "Ottocento Veneto. Il trionfo del colore" has ended in Casa dei Carraresi in Treviso on April 3, 2005; Mr. Dino De Poli, Fondazione Cassamarca's President, with the help of Teatri s.p.a., promoted it.

This painting show was made also by the work of Enrico Brunello (antique dealer) and of his song the architect Andrea; the editors are Mr. Nico Stringa, professor of History of contemporary Art at Ca' Foscari University and Mr. Giuseppe Pavanello, full professor of History of Modern Art at Trieste University.

This event intended to set off the painting of Veneto and to let it is known by the general public; it was made by over a hundred paintings realized by artists of Veneto School from 1830 to 1880.

The show was divided into seven sections: the "RITRATTO", the "ARTISTA NELLO STUDIO", the "VEDUTA", the "PITTURA DI GENERE", the "MAESTRI DEL VERO" (dedicated to Luigi Nono, Guglielmo Ciardi and Giacomo Favretto), the "VITA QUOTIDIANA" and the last section is dedicated to VENICE.
The showed paintings depict the quotidian life, the country and the lagoonal town.

It was possibile to see also the paintings of Pompeo Molmenti, Domenico Bresolin, L. Selvatico, Michelangelo Grigoletti, Luigi Querena, Eugenio Bosa, Ettore Tito, Ippolito Caffi, Federico Moja, Alessandro Milesi, Guglielmo Stella, Luigi Serena and many others who belonged to private collection and who were never showed the general public.

This art exhibition was different from the previous showes, where the main persons playing a leading role were Vincent van Gogh and Paul Cezanne; this change is marked by the enlargement of the indoor spaces of Casa dei Carraresi and also by deeply modified mountings.
