This painting show is made up by more than about a hundred oil paintings, drawings and sketches arranged in four sections: ritratti e nature morte (portraits and still lives), paesaggio (landscape), soggetti sacri (sacred topics) and grafica (graphic works). |
|
Walter Brizianelli's pictorial art has bright colours, sharp outlines and it is often the result of thorough preparatory work.
He was interested in art all the time: he was an architect, a valued and esteemed teacher care of Istituto d'Arte in Perugia which is his native town; he worked at local Archaeological Museum for some years where his job was instrumental for the works being present at museum. |
|
Walter Briziarelli knew Veneto in his life; he used to spend some periods of rest here and he liked Cadore with its mountains (which attracted his attention and interest particularly) and Treviso, town rich in full of charm views between the rivers Cagnan and Sile and Ponte Dante
Walter Briziarelli died out in 1975.
